I am a photographer for the past 15 years, back when CF cards and megapixels were not yet invented. I learned the craft in UP Baguio when I was still a student of Humanities under Pia and Jorge Andrada. We formed 20 Maya (Dalawampung Maya,) we talked about art, literature, poems, movies, and pictures all the time. It was through this group that I learned how to see things in a different light.

The first camera that I used was a borrowed Nikon FG. My grandfather lent me some money so I can buy it, he also got me a cheap 50mm lens from Hidalgo. He was the first person to introduce me to that amazing place. From then on, the camera has been an extension of my body. Work caught up with me for some time and had to give up my passion and concentrate on the emerging internet business back then to support our daily living.

Today, I realized that no matter what, you do not abandon your passion, especially the gifts God has entrusted you. We are commanded to use them for His glory no matter what.

Thank God for 2nd chances!! After 14 years of corporate life in ABS-CBNinteractive, I have finally made the step and follow the path I believe God has carved out for me.

I found myself shooting more weddings & pre-nups these days! I don’t write, but I like stories, either listening or telling one. I like telling stories through photographs. So if you want to tell your story using still photos, let’s write it down and preserve your happiest day for the rest of your life!

It’s really hard to talk about or write about myself. I wish somebody else would do that for me. Please check this space again after I figure that out and consider this page still under construction. In the meantime, I will quote one of my favorite verses in the Bible to get us all pumped up:

“I Can Do All Things Through Christ Who Strengthens Me”
